Sara Fariss Krivanec has been a birth and postpartum doula since 2001. Her passion is educating others about natural childbirth and supporting those in the community who want VBAC. Sara is past leader and a big supporter of ICAN of Richmond, a cesarean and VBAC support group. Sara received her B.A. in Women's Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has worked for over a decade to improve childbirth policies and greater access to midwives with groups such a Virginia Friends of Midwives and The VABirthPAC.
